As committee members and participants of the highly successful Soham ‘lest we forget’ commemoration event, Soham Heritage and Tourism are continuing to support the centenary commemoration at Soham’s Pumpkin Fayre on Saturday 27th September. Our gazebo will contain exact miniature models of Soham’s own war Memorial and a WW1 trench. We will also have information on Soham during the war years, costumes and items from the period.

We are also collecting information for our forth coming publication – ‘A Soham Man’s War’ which will contain pieces on those who gave their lives and the survivors of the Great War. You will also be able to read about the industry and agriculture of the area as well as home life during the war years. This will be the most comprehensive publication of Soham’s war years relating to 1914-1918.
