Many, many varied people have published information and books on Soham Pubs, brewery and ale houses; even the local papers have, including The Newmarket Journal and more recently Soham Town Forum, have both produced information, pictures and maps; but not many have the wealth of information gathered by Janet Murfet of Soham.
The History Box
This is a new addition from us to the community. It involves making up a box with original items, information and artefacts relating to a particular period in History, Soham based themes, past memories or things of national historical importance and interest.
Our first History boxes were based on '1940/50's memories' and 'the Stone Age'.
So if you are interested, please contact us via this website or our facebook page (inbox us). There is a small charge of £10 for each box which covers delivery to you and subsequent pick up with associated printing and/or copying costs included in the price.
(Please note that all items must be returned in the box and in the same condition in which they were lent to you from Soham Heritage and Tourism).
